Thank You! There have been approximately 1000 or so people who've visited my website. Thank you. If you have a moment, please drop me a line and say hello.
Early 2006 After a very challenging 2004 and early 2005, I'm continuing my long-term association with Blame it on Jane, playing gigs with them on bass and vocals. The Happy Cynics, a band I've played with in the past, is reconvening from time to time to play some select dates and they've asked me to join them for those dates on drums and vocals. I still have a number of demo songs which I share co-author credit with Michael Harrington, a guitarist of The Happy Cynics and for one reason or another has not moved forward in 2004 and 2005 in the manner that either of us would have liked. I hope to get back on the horse. We still have 8-10 between us in various stages of completion and two are finished, developmentally even if they aren't studio final cuts. We play all the instruments between us, save a few guest artist spots we have planned and hope take these songs into a professional studio and re-record for inclusion in an album sometime in the future.
In addition to lessons, I hope to pursue a little more "academic" approach with music by preparing some transcriptions of songs and/or bass parts and helpful hints/thoughts to be placed on this site. They should have some practical value, educational value, or should underscore some finer point I think is important in/about music. I also have a music book planned, and it's on that ever-growing list of things to do in life.
